The Company

Since 1986, JOSAB International AB (publ), situated in Nyhamnsläge, Sweden, has developed and sold complete systems for water treatment. With a product line covering a number of different application areas, our main focus has always been on units capable of producing pure drinking water from polluted freshwater sources. Market segments to which we deliver our standard products and the mineral Aqualite™ include producers of bottled water, market gardeners, private households and international aid organisations as well as manufacturers of oily bilge water separators.

We are an official supplier to organisations in the UN network. The International Federation of The Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) recommends our system for purification of drinking water. In order to reach overseas markets faster, we have partnered with international agents and distributors for marketing and sales activities in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East.

Since autumn 2006, we have a subsidiary in Hungary – JOSAB Hungary KFT. Through this company we own the Ratka Mine - the only place, known to us, where the Aqualite™ can be found. By the ownership we secure not only delivery of the unique mineral, but also the quality.

In connection with the acquisition of the mine, the leadership of the company decided to change focus from sales of complete water treatment systems to bulk sales of the mineral Aqualite™.

The Environmental board in Helsingborg, Sweden has approved the use of Josab Aqualite™ System for purification of groundwater on construction sites.
The Josab Aqualite™ System purifies water according to the WHO regulations for drinking water quality.
In Poland, Aqualite™ has been approved by the National Institute of Hygiene for production of drinking water in municipalities.
