Aqualite™ - a mineral with unique properties Research has shown that for water purification, Aqualite™ is superior to other zeolites due to its high quality and unique properties.
It
has a uniform structure with large pore volume and a very large active
surface area, 200 - 500 m2 /g. It is very efficient in particle
reduction, adsorbs chemicals and petroleum products, reduces heavy
metals and ammonium- and hydrogen compounds, it reduces bacteria such as
E-coli, coliform, heterotroph and reduces fungus as well as parasites
including cryptosporidium and giardia lamblia
The Aqualite™ is resistant to mechanical wear and when saturated, the ion-exchanging capacity is easily regenerated with salt solution (NaCl). Expected lifelength of the Aqualite™ is minimum 5 years under normal conditions. The Aqualite™ is a 100% natural product and has been approved by authorities for production of drinking water.
